The conversion of a tower into a single-person dwelling is proposed. The small building is located within a large plot with an old Catalan farmhouse and forms an independent but auxiliary element of it.

The views, the climate and the constructive solutions seek to open the tower to the landscape in the hottest months and, at the same time, to be a refuge from it in the coldest months.

In order to optimise the interior space, the staircase is designed as the central element of the intervention, taking advantage of all its levels as well as the space underneath it.
